Your Responsibilties

  • You are responsible for building a pipeline of sales opportunities for Quest One's industrial scale electrolyzer offering (10MW – GW+) in North America.
  • You prospect, develop, and capture new opportunities with large, complex accounts.
  • You conduct market and customer segmentation analysis to identify and prioritize potential new customers across various industries, including fuel developers, petrochemicals, refining, and industrials (such as steel, ceramics, semiconductors, etc.).
  • You develop and execute plans to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within identified target customers.
  • You work closely with Proposals, Engineering, and Technology teams to develop winning project sales strategies, while supporting internal forecasting and prioritization efforts.
  • You proactively engage in a consultative sales approach with customers during early project development phases, including concept and feasibility studies, permitting, and financing stages.
  • You develop a deep understanding of customers’ project use cases and create tailored materials to position the Quest One offering, including levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) calculations and total plant CAPEX estimates.
  • You negotiate various customer-facing contracts, including MOUs, FEED Studies, equipment supply agreements, long-term service agreements, and NDAs.
  • You actively promote Quest One as a leading green hydrogen solution provider in North America by proposing and participating in relevant conferences and industry events, including speaking engagements, organizing prospect workshops, and collaborating with the marketing team to amplify the company’s presence across multiple channels.

What You Bring

  • You hold a degree in engineering or business and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy, oil & gas, or industrial processing industries, ideally with an industrial equipment OEM or EPC.
  • You have existing relationships within relevant energy industry companies and potential customers.
  • You bring experience in large-scale capital projects and possess a thorough understanding of typical project development processes (including land acquisition, offtake and supply agreements, financing, permitting, and FEL processes).
  • You have experience negotiating framework and master service agreements at executive levels.
  • You are flexible, creative, and willing to challenge boundaries, inspiring internal and external parties to think outside the box.
  • You are a true problem-solver, result-driven, positive-minded, and bring enormous enthusiasm and perseverance.
  • You have experience working in an international environment, collaborating across countries and time zones.
  • You are an articulate writer and speaker with experience developing presentations and content for executive-level audiences.
