Our Mission

Quest One is a global leader in PEM electrolysis. Our goal is clear: we aim to make a significant impact in reducing greenhouse gases with our electrolyzers. Since our beginnings as a startup in 1997, we’ve grown into a subsidiary of Everllence, part of Volkswagen Group, with around 500 employees across Europe and North America.

Quest One’s North America business is focused on delivering industrial-scale hydrogen production equipment and plant solutions for customer projects across the region.

Your Responsibilties

  • You will lead strategic sourcing of equipment and components for industrial-scale projects in the North American market.
  • You will own all supply chain related activities as a core member of the Project Execution team, working closely with the Project Manager to oversee schedule and budget in line with customer project requirements.
  • You will shape relationships, drive commercial outcomes and align scopes with packaging / integration partners and other suppliers.
  • You will define and manage work packages, aligning commercial frameworks, technical specs, and delivery milestones.
  • You will steer negotiations with partners and suppliers to optimize cost, timeline, and quality.
  • You will interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure scope clarity and execution readiness.
  • You will help identify and mitigate commercial and technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will initiate and advance cost reduction and value engineering initiatives with suppliers.
  • You will contribute to long-term sourcing strategies that support competitiveness, scalability, and resilience.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in supply chain management, business management, industrial engineering or a closely related field that enables you to lead complex procurement in industrial projects with confidence.
  • You have 10+ years of experience in execution of projects for process or power plants, ideally within an OEM in hydrogen Oil & Gas, power generation or other energy sector industry. Experience with Owner/Operator and/or EPC firms also welcome.
  • You bring a strong track record in developing procurement packages and leading negotiations with suppliers,  including system integrators and packagers.
  • You have strong project management and communication skills, with experience managing and reporting on budgets and schedules across multiple stakeholders.
  • You operate with a high degree of autonomy, structure, and business acumen, combining technical understanding with a clear focus on commercial outcomes.
